Min: Russia, Uzbekistan can sign $20 bln deals during Putin’s visit
TASHKENT, Oct 18 (PRIME) -- Russia and Uzbekistan plan to sign U.S. $20 billion worth of agreements during President Vladimir Putin’s visit scheduled for Thursday and Friday, Economy Minister Botir Khodzhayev told PRIME.
“A large set of agreements and investment projects is to be signed… The total amount is close to $20 billion,” Khodzhayev said.
A program of economic cooperation for 2019–2024 is to be signed at a summit between Putin and Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The plan will include investment cooperation between the industries and interregional cooperation.
